Inter-Faith Week 2021 was held from 14th to 21st November 2021 and coincides with Remembrance Sunday each year.
Many thousands of people of different backgrounds and all ages have taken part across the UK and we at Warren Road played our part! We believe in ‘Respect for All’, and our school is open to ideas from all different religions and beliefs.
Mrs Angell led assemblies celebrating our school’s diversity and gave thanks for those, of all faiths and cultures, that had sacrificed their lives in World Wars. Examples of other children’s art were shown that had been influenced by previous Inter-Faith weeks and the pupils were invited to design their own logo to reflect their own beliefs.
We received several amazing entries, and we are pleased to announce that the winning design was awarded to Boris who explained that his design shows:
All people being together. We share the earth; we love and respect each other no matter the difference.
Thank you, Boris, and to all those who entered. Let us be inspired for the future.
